Test match to finish training camp

The final 90 minutes of football during training camp: at the end of the week in Kitzbühel, TSG Hoffenheim will play a test match against Ipswich Town. Kick-off is at 13:30 CET in Kufstein. 

Ipswich Town celebrated their promotion to the Premier League last season, having finished second in the table. After 22 years, the team from the East of England is back playing in the top English league. Coach Kieran McKenna's team swept through from the third league - Ipswich Town was promoted two years running. 

The club has a turbulent history. In 1962 they were champions, and in 1981 UEFA Cup winners. However, this was followed by a difficult spell, which included four seasons in the third league. Now Ipswich Town is back among the best English teams.

One person who is particularly happy about this is Ed Sheeran. The musician grew up near Ipswich and is a huge fan. And his affection doesn't stop there: Ed Sheeran is a current sponsor and supports the club financially.

After the final whistle, TSG Hoffenheim will travel back to Kraichgau. The team will then have two days off and will start training in Zuzenhausen again on Tuesday.
