Julian Justvan joins TSG Hoffenheim

The former German youth international is "a very exciting player who can play on both flanks as a left-footer and thus offers an interesting additional component to our squad. It speaks volumes about him that he is ready to take on the role of someone challenging for a place in the team, and I trust that he can be a real surprise in the new season."

"I also want to establish myself in the Bundesliga and I see the ideal conditions here in Hoffenheim for me to further my development as a player.''

Justvan, who came through the youth set-up of TSV 1860 Munich, moved to second-tier club SC Paderborn in 2020 and immediately became a fixture in the starting line-up. He was able to make a strong contribution to Paderborn's attacking play, scoring five goals and setting up eight others in 34 games in the Bundesliga 2 last season. In addition, he scored two goals and provided two assists in three DFB-Pokal matches. In total, the 25-year-old made 102 appearances for the East Westphalians in his three years at the club, scoring 11 goals and providing 21 assists.
