Baumgartner nominated for Player of the Month
TSG player Christoph Baumgartner has been nominated by the Bundesliga for the November Player of the Month award. The midfielder scored two goals this month – more than any other Hoffenheim player. The vote will open today (23 November). Fans account for 40% of the vote, while the captains of the Bundesliga clubs and a panel of experts will account for 30% each. The other nominees alongside Baumgartner include Christopher Nkunku, Dominik Szoboszlai (both Leipzig), Serge Gnabry (Bayern Munich), Jeremie Frimpong (Bayer 04 Leverkusen) and Jonas Hofmann (Borussia Mönchengladbach). The vote will run until 23:59 CET on Sunday (27 November).
