DFL scheduling: Derby on a Tuesday, two 15:30 games on Saturdays

The German Football League (DFL) has precisely scheduled Matchdays 17 to 19. TSG will finish the first half-season against VfB Stuttgart on a Tuesday, before kicking off the second half of the campaign at home to Borussia Mönchengladbach only four days later.

It was announced at the start of September that TSG would start the New Year at 15:30 CET on 21 January. The away game against Union Berlin at the Alte Forsterei will be followed by two home games against Stuttgart and Mönchengladbach, which have now been scheduled along with the game away to VfL Bochum.

TSG will play host to VfB Stuttgart on (Tuesday) 24 January at 20:30 CET, with the home game against Borussia Mönchengladbach to follow on (Saturday) 28 January at 15:30 CET. Next up will be the DFB-Pokal last 16 tie against RB Leipzig on 1 February (18:00 CET), followed by the VfL Bochum match on 4 February. Kick-off will be at 15:30 CET.
