Shocked by the developments in Ukraine
We often and fondly remember the time when we travelled to Kharkiv to take on Shakhtar Donetsk, full of excitement and sporting ambition. Not only did we score the first Champions League goal in our history through Florian Grillitsch there, we also encountered an impressive city with inspirational and warm-hearted people who proved to be unforgettable hosts to us and displayed fantastic warmth. We are therefore all the more shaken by the developments in Ukraine. Our thoughts are with all the people there. Peace is the most important thing for all of us; we must protect it always and everywhere.
Tuesday
Vogt sidelined by injury
Kevin Vogt will be unavailable for TSG until further notice. The defender tore a muscle fibre in his right thigh during the 2-1 win at VfL Wolfsburg. The 30-year-old pulled up injured after a foot race with Wolfsburg's Max Kruse and had to be substituted in the 43rd minute. Get well soon, Kevin!

Three TSG players in Team of the Round
Deserved praise: Pavel Kadeřábek, David Raum and Jacob Bruun Larsen have been rewarded for their performances in the 2-1 win away to VfL Wolfsburg by being named in Team of the Round selections. Kadeřábek earned a place in "kicker" magazine's XI, while Raum and Bruun Larsen got the nod for the "BILD'' selection. Congratulations lads!
Draband named new U16 goalkeeper coach
In addition to his playing duties with the U23s, goalkeeper Dominik Draband is now also taking the first steps in his coaching career: the 25-year-old will coach the club's U16 keepers with immediate effect. The former academy player succeeds Dominik Weber, who quit as goalkeeper coach of the U16s at the end of the year. Draband played in the TSG academy from 2007 to 2018 and went through all of TSG's youth teams from U12 to U23 level. In 2014, he was the back-up keeper for the team that won the U19 German Championship.
