TSG commence preparations for second half-season

In addition to the two long-term injury absentees Ermin Bičakčić und Robert Skov, the TSG coach is without Diadie Samassékou (Africa Cup of Nations), Håvard Nordtveit, Kasim Adams (both flu infections), Sargis Adamyan (corona case in direct environment) and Melayro Bogarde (private matter, will return to the team on Wednesday after receiving permission from the club) as the preparations for the second half-season get under way. But Jacob Bruun Larsen, who missed the end of the first half-season with muscular problems, has returned to training.

TSG Hoffenheim will start the second half of their league campaign with a home game against FC Augsburg (8 January/15:30 CET), before then visiting 1. FC Union Berlin (15 January/15:30 CET).
