Gaćinović joins Panathinaikos on loan
Bundesliga club TSG Hoffenheim have agreed to loan Mijat Gaćinović to Greek Super League club Panathinaikos until the end of the current campaign. The 26-year-old attacking midfielder still has a contract with TSG until 30 June 2024. Athens-based Panathinaikos occupy fourth spot in the Greek top-flight with 20 rounds of the matches played.
Mijat Gaćinović moved to the Kraichgau from league rivals Eintracht Frankfurt as part of a swap deal involving Steven Zuber prior to the 2020/21 season. He has since made 27 appearances in the Bundesliga, four in the DFB-Pokal and seven in the Europa League (one goal) for TSG Hoffenheim.
