Bebou: "We deserved to win"
Ihlas Bebou: "It was a difficult game, so I'm even happier that I scored a hattrick for the first time in the Bundesliga. Fürth were wide awake from the opening minute of the first half and then the second too after they managed to make it 2-2. In the end though, we were dominant and deserved to win. We just have to call on ourselves to be consistent over 90 minutes in the coming games."
David Raum: "We were a bit surprised in the opening 20 minutes. After that, we did a great job offensively and managed to turn the game around in the first half. We also reacted well to their equaliser at 2-2 and showed the quality of our squad. In the end, of course, we deserved to win and I'm delighted. It's great to have won away from home again and, obviously, it was a special game for me. This was where I was trained and became a professional. I tried to block that out during the game."
Sebastian Hoeneß: "We saw our full range today. There were phases we weren't satisfied with, such as the first few minutes and the start of the second half, but there were also phases, like at the end of both halves, when we played really good football. Today was about confirming last week's win. We'll take the win, but the game was a bit too turbulent for me."
Stefan Leitl (SpVgg Greuther Fürth coach): "We started the game really well and had some great moments. From my point of view, we deserved to take the lead, and we even had the chance to make it 2-0. Unfortunately, we didn't get the equaliser after hitting the post. When they made it 1-1, it was a reflection of our defensive behaviour. That's why we conceded six goals. I'm extremely annoyed because scoring three goals should be enough to win a game."
