Together again for the season opener against Stade de Reims
We're finally back together again: you can be there live on Saturday afternoon when TSG take on French top-flight outfit Stade de Reims in a friendly (15:30 CET) as part of the official season ppening ceremony. The PreZero Arena will open its gates two hours prior to kick-off, with the band 'Fabelhaft' invited to get you into good spirits in the stands. In addition, our stadium announcer Mike Diehl will be conducting interviews with various guests from 14:15 CET to get you buzzing for the new season. For all the fans who can't make it to the PreZero Arena, TSG.TV has a great alternative for you: the match against Stade de Reims will be broadcast live on tsg-hoffenheim.de and YouTube. The live stream starts at 15:15 CET.
Stade de Reims were promoted to the top tier of French football in 2018 and competed in the Europa League qualifying rounds last season, where they were beaten by Hungarian club Fehervar. The club from Champagne finished last season in 14th place. Reims appointed the Spaniard Oscar Garcia as their new boss this summer.
TSG Hoffenheim will then play their first competitive game of the campaign around a week after the season opening ceremony. Coach Sebastian Hoeness' charges will travel away to third-tier Viktoria Cologne on Monday 9 August (18:30 CET) for the first round of the DFB-Pokal.
