Bruun Larsen to join Anderlecht on loan
"After analysing the situation together, we have decided to allow Jacob to take this step. In large part due to injury and illness, the last few months have not gone how he and we envisaged that they would," said director of football Alexander Rosen of the Dane, who has recently hit hard by the double blow of a coronavirus infection and the impact it had on his fitness in the period that followed. Now Bruun Larsen is hoping for the opportunity to be granted some all-important playing time, especially as he wants to be playing regular football in order to stake his claim for a place in the Denmark squad at the European Championships this summer.
Jacob Bruun Larsen joined TSG Hoffenheim from Borussia Dortmund in January 2020 and has since made 15 appearances in the Bundesliga, DFB Cup and Europa League.
