Sky to show past simulcast featuring Mainz vs. TSG

Saturday at 15:30 CET is the classic kick-off time in Germany, but there's no football for the time being due to the corona crisis. That isn't stopping broadcaster Sky from showing football – involving TSG Hoffenheim – this Saturday (11 April), however. They will be broadcasting a past simulcast featuring TSG Hoffenheim's Bundesliga match away to 1. FSV Mainz (4-4) on 11 September 2016. In what was a thrilling encounter, the Kraichgau club came back from 4-1 down to snatch a point in Mainz.

In addition, Hoffenheim shot-stopper Baumann will be in the studio from 18:00 CET to speak with presenter Michael Leopold about the fictitious matchday, in which he featured in two games: TSG's 4-4 stalemate in Mainz, plus SC Freiburg's 3-2 victory over Bayer Leverkusen from 25 January 2014.
