TSG support DFL development project in Kenya
Tuesday
As part of the club's strategy for the future: "TSG is movement", a delegation from Hoffenheim will travel to Nairobi from 28 February to 3 March to support the joint project "Bundesliga Youth Ambassadors". In cooperation with Bundesliga International and "streetfootballworld", TSG Hoffenheim are encouraging socially-engaged individuals from Kenya to promote the development of their country and act as role models in their community. Football serves as a catalyst for social change and serves not just to inspire people, but also to have a positive effect on community life. TSG Hoffenheim, as a pioneering club in German football, is training these ambassadors, who are aged between 18 and 25, and familiarising them with the training principles of a Bundesliga football club.
At the kick-off event in Nairobi, the TSG delegation will deliver football-specific theory and practice workshops, share information on "Sport4Development" and provide video coaching sessions. Also on the agenda are a visit to the German Embassy in Nairobi and a joint public viewing of the Hoffenheim home game against FC Bayern Munich.

Baumann makes "Team of the Round"
Oliver Baumann had a great game in Mönchengladbach. The TSG shot-stopper excelled in the 1-1 draw, thwarting numerous opportunities and saving a penalty from Alassane Pléa in the 75th minute to enable Hoffenheim to level through Lucas Ribeiro in the 92nd minute. The performance earned Baumann praise and recognition from football magazine "kicker", which included the 29-year-old in the "Team of the Round" and voted him "Man of the Match". The Hoffenheim keeper made the "Team of the Round" selected by "Bild" too.
