TSG Football School tours Germany

The Schalke 04 Knappen Football School, the Borussia Dortmund Academy and the 1. FC Cologne Football School were all among the stops on our TSG Football School's tour of Germany. The highlight of the trip was the first network meeting at FC St. Pauli's Millerntor stadium, where approximately 40 representatives of football schools from the top three leagues in Germany were in attendance. In addition to a stadium tour, interesting workshops on various topics and a lecture by the University of Hamburg focusing on "Pedagogical Training Quality", the main focus was on getting to know the football schools for the first time. "The meeting not only gave us the opportunity to share experiences and exchange information on current trends; but also to discuss common topics such as the planning, organisation and implementation of football camps," said Laura Höschle, Event Manager at the TSG Football School, in her summary of the week's activities. The meeting focused on the concrete practical challenges faced by Bundesliga clubs' football schools and gave the participants the opportunity to discuss their respective approaches and share ideas on how to deal with various challenges which arise within the field.

Merchandising fair in Hamburg

After attending the network meeting, the TSG team went to the merchandising fair in Hamburg, where over 120 exhibitors presented their latest innovations and products in the VIP area of the Volkspark Stadium. "We can look back on a very productive week. We gained many exciting insights and were able to develop new ideas which now have to be put into practice. A big thank you goes to the clubs we were able to visit during the tour and to FC St. Pauli, who organised the first network meeting of this kind. The date for the coming year has already been set and we will of course be taking part," said Marius Ravenschlag, Event Manager of the TSG Football School.

The year is slowly drawing to a close and the last developmental training sessions are scheduled. Looking ahead to 2020, the TSG Football School's motto will once again be: ''Train like the pros!" The first events for 2020 are already scheduled. Be a part of it and register now!
