"TSG extends social commitment"

On the sporting front, the club has made enormous strides since 2016. “We just haven’t enjoyed any luck up till now in European games,” Hopp said. After finishing fourth in the Bundesliga in 2017 and third the following season, he hoped that coach Julian Nagelsmann could lead the team to Champions League qualification once again. “That would be a dream. It would be nice if we could all dream this together,” said Hopp, while also thanking Nagelsmann. He also hopes to soon announce Nagelsmann’s successor, who will join RB Leipzig in the summer.

Hopp also highlighted the social commitment to the club’s "TSG is movement" strategy. It is set to be expanded further, for example in southern parts of Africa in cooperation with the German Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development, and also in the immediate vicinity of the club, at schools in the region and working together with the Klima Arena being built nearby. The 78-year-old also thanked the club’s sponsors for their support, having played a decisive role in TSG becoming a recognised member of the Bundesliga over the past 11 years.

Our stadium in Sinsheim was opened ten years ago, in January 2009, and the club’s bosses revealed that the stadium had been renamed PreZero since mid-January. “The PreZero Arena is a Champions League stadium. We are completely at home in it,” said Dr. Peter Görlich.
