Benjamin Hübner: "The next important step"

Welcome to TSG, Benni. What swayed your decision to join Hoffenheim?

Benjamin Hübner: The perspectives and opportunities that I was shown. I also had very good discussions with both Julian Nagelsmann and Alexander Rosen. For me, the move is the next important step in my career.

What role did the development of TSG under Julian Nagelsmann in the second half of the season play?

Hübner: That was obviously important. You could see from a distance the boost for the team and the club. The games, results and successes in the past weeks were clear – everything is going well.

What are your first impressions of Hoffenheim?

Hübner: Very good. The training centre is fantastic – the quality is really high. I’m convinced that I can take the next step here at TSG.

So the next thing is house hunting…

Hübner: Correct. I need to see where I’ll end up. I’ve driven through Heidelberg and I liked that at first glance.
