Joselu signs for Hannover 96
José Luis Mato Sanmartàn (Joselu) will play for fellow Bundesliga side Hannover 96 from next season after they and TSG 1899 Hoffenheim reached an agreement over the transfer of the player.
Joselu had a contract at TSG until June 30th 2016. The Stuttgart-born striker spent last season on loan at Eintracht Frankfurt. He scored nine goals in 24 games for the Eagles. The 24-year-old joined Hoffenheim from Real Madrid in 2012 and made 25 Bundesliga appearances in his first season at the club, scoring five goals.
“We are pleased to have sorted out this personnel matter and that negotiations led to the optimal result for us. There were many aspects to consider with this transfer. The highly professional and discrete transaction ultimately led to the desired result,” said TSG 1899 Hoffenheim sporting director Alexander Rosen.
