Joselu joins TSG 1899 Hoffenheim
The Spaniard Joselu will transfer immediately to TSG 1899 Hoffenheim from La Liga team Real Madrid. The 22 year old, Stuttgart-born striker signed a four year contract with the Bundesliga side on Tuesday evening, and will train with his new teammates for the first time on Wednesday.
“Joselu has already shown his class at Real Madrid. He's also young and has a great deal of potential. He fits in well at Hoffenheim and with this team,” said TSG manager Markus Babbel.
Joselu, full name José Luis Mato Sanmartàn, was the top scorer in the Real Madrid U23s last season with 26 goals, helping his side with their promotion to the Spanish second division.
The 6'3'' striker has also made himself known in the Primera División: He made his debut in José Mourinho's team in May 2011, where he also scored his first goal against UD Almeria.
The transfer fee for the player is undisclosed.
