DFB Pokal: 1899 Hoffenheim travel to TSV Germania Windeck

The draw for the first round of the DFB Pokal took place this weekend and Germany's female international Celia Okoyino da Mbabi, was on hand as 1899 Hoffenheim were given a tricky away tie against TSV Germania Windeck for their first competitive match of the 2011/12 season. The opening round fixtures will take place between 29th July and 1st August. The exact dates will be confirmed on achtzehn99.de when they are released.

Reaction to the 1st round draw:

Manager Ernst Tanner:

"Germania Windeck are not an unknown quantity as they have experience in tournament situations, most notably against FC Bayern München. Of course we'll be the favourites when we travel to Windeck and want to ensure that we follow through on what is expected of us."

Goalkeeper Tom Starke:

"We're definitely happy with what the draw has given us. We can't under any circumstances underestimate Windeck though. Last year they managed to put FC Bayern München through their paces and put in a really tough performance. It's important, though, that we start the new season with a positive, something that we proved last year."
