Match reaction against 1. FC Nürnberg

1899 Hoffenheim recorded their 3rd win a row after failing to demonstrate their killing yet again allowing 1. FC Nürnberg to score in the dying moments to steal a point. Here is the reaction to an entertaining match at the Rhein-Neckar-Arena.

Ralf Rangnick: It should've already been decided by the time they scored the equaliser. We should've killed the game off by then. Then it only took one mistake by my team and now we're sitting on 24 points instead of 26.

Dieter Hecking: It was a very lucky and very important point for us and we're happy to take it with us. We've definitely put in better performances this season, but the uncertainty was clear for all to see today. We rode the pressure until half time and in the end we believed in our ability to sniff out an equaliser.

Andreas Beck: It's a mixture of frustration and disappointment. We were a constant threat on the counter and had chance after chance, but we couldn't convert.

Raphael Schäfer: We hardly had a chance today. However, we took our chance when it came to us and have therefore taken a lot from today's match.

Christian Eigler: When I scored the goal I didn't have a second thought but to smash the ball into the back of the net. It comes from self-confidence.
